Pro Alliance proudly took part in the Discussion Forum “Quo Vadis Hukum Pelayaran Indonesia”, organized by the Maritime Law Study Center of the Alumni Association of Universitas Diponegoro Faculty of Law (IKAFH UNDIP) on 23 September 2025 at the Shipping Tribunal Office.

The forum gathered key figures from government, industry, academia, and legal practice to exchange insights on the future of Indonesia’s maritime law.

The distinguished speakers included:

  1. Capt. Hendri Ginting, M.M., Director of Sea and Coast Guard Unit, Ministry of Transportation
  2. Indra Dwisatria Pusponegoro, S.H., LL.M., Chairman of Legal Advocacy & Insurance WG, Indonesia National Shipowners’ Association (INSA)
  3. Dr. Ade Adhari, S.H., M.H., Secretary of Master’s Program, Universitas Tarumanegara
  4. Leong Lu Yuan, Director of International Law Firm Clyde & Co Singapore
  5. Johannes Cruz Hutagaol, S.H., Executive Director of PSHM IKAFH UNDIP

The discussion was moderated by Pro Alliance Director, Stefanny O. Simorangkir, S.H., who led the conversation with insightful direction.

At the conclusion, the event marked the declaration of “Praktisi Hukum Pelayaran Indonesia (Prahulayar Indonesia)”, a new association for shipping law professionals. Pro Alliance President Director, Bama Djokonugroho, S.H., was appointed as its first Chairman.

The declaration was read by Capt. Bobby Mamahit, former Director General of Sea Transportation (2013–2016), and co-signed by:

  • Kalalo Nugroho, S.H. (Former Head of Legal Bureau, Ministry of Transportation)
  • Bama Djokonugroho, S.H. (Chairman of PSHM IKAFH UNDIP / Advocate)
  • Handrian Budi Wicaksono, S.H., M.H. (Directorate General of Sea Transportation)
